In this role your responsibilities will be to:

• Develop market evolution hypotheses, understand market dynamics, and evaluate business impact to Novonesis
• Lead tactical and strategic projects within market intelligence, collaborate with key stakeholders, and achieve alignment on market assessments and competitive landscape
• Provide strategic advisory to marketing teams to support Novonesis’ business units
• Develop and maintain industry and competitor knowledge database, evaluate credibility of external sources and potential utility, and leverage them across the company
• Improve recurring analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security

Day to day tasks

• Research and analyse market dynamics: Collect, assess, and analyse (from various databases and internet) market, customer, and competitor information related to Novonesis’ businesses.
• Monitor industry trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could impact the company. Provide regular updates and insights on these trends to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and sales, to provide insights and recommendations on competitive positioning and business development strategies.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence systems: Develop and maintain systems and tools for collecting, analysing, and disseminating market intelligence. This would include databases, reports, and dashboards.
• Automate recurring tasks using excel, VBA, tableau and generate custom forms, graphs, and reports and identify opportunities for automations and bring in process efficiencies
• Communicate insights and recommendations: Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing and business development teams.
• Manage external resources: Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to supplement market intelligence efforts wherever needed

Potentially relevant experience:

• 5-8 years’ experience in consulting firms or analytics, insights, marketing or business development
• MBA from a premier institute
• Well versed with wide range of strategic & industry specific frameworks & methodologies that can be applied for problem solving
• Experience in FMCG or Industrial Processing industries is preferrable
• IT Skills – MS Office, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI Macros/ VBA
• Skills such as Social Media Listening, Power Query, Power Pivot, Forecasting, Regression, Foresights, Scenarios are added advantage
• Good English communication & presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with creative mindset to tell compelling stories
• Comfortable working with ambiguous problems
• Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously
