Job Description:

  • Role title: Wellness Coordinator

  • Role type: Maximum Term Part-Time (12-month contract, 32 hours per week)

  • Role grade: Administration Officer Level 5, Year 1/2

  • Department and location: Cancer Services, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst

  • Salary: $79,171.07 -$80,966.53 (pro-rata) + super+ salary packaging

About the role

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to practitioners, patients, and internal/external stakeholders within the Wellness Centre

  • Manage bookings, billing, invoicing, and related finance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing

  • Oversee daily administrative operations including correspondence, enquiries, records, stationery, and general office support

  • Support practitioner onboarding and orientation, and ensure compliance with required qualifications, registrations, and memberships

  • Maintain a safe, professional, and confidential environment in line with Privacy Act requirements and organisational policies


About you

  • Proven experience in high-level administration or secretarial support, ideally in a healthcare or hospital environment

  • Strong understanding of healthcare policies, procedures, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • High-level computer literacy, including MS Office and experience with clinical systems such as Cliniko and MOSAIQ

  • Experience or understanding of billing, invoicing, and administrative processes within health or allied health settings
