Located on the beachside on WA’s Coral Coast, RAC Cervantes Holiday Park is only a 20-minute drive away from beautiful Jurien Bay and two hours from Perth. Featuring self-contained villas and studios, powered caravan sites and campsites, our accommodation holds approximately 600 guests at peak and is only a short drive away from the nearby ocean, beautiful wildflowers, and the iconic Pinnacles within Nambung National Park.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Park Manager with strong park management experience to join our team on a full-time temporary contract basis and contribute to providing our RAC members and guests with high-quality resort accommodation and services.
This role would be ideal for a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth - Manager's accommodation is provided allowing the right candidate to live and work on-site.

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Park Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in management and maintenance of all operational elements of Cervantes Holiday Park including provision of high-standard accommodation, hospitality services and a range of other activities to ensure the smooth running of the park.
In this role you will:
Work with the Park Manager with rostering, recruitment, daily targets, training & development of staff & performance management of the team.
Efficiently manage and maintain the property assets, carry out specialised maintenance works on the property, and ensure maintenance plan is developed, adhered to and within budget.
Assist members and guests with their requests, resolving customer complaints, with strong focus on guest experience.
Ensure the implementation of effective systems and operational procedures, including occupational health and safety practices and checklists.
Work with the Park Manager in meeting KPI targets & budgets for both revenue and costs.
Lead the property in the absence of the Park Manager.
What are we looking for in you?
Experience in similar role including demonstrated management experience in the hospitality or related industries.
Strong computer skills including MS Office, NewBook (or similar reservations system), Financial Software, Rostering Software and SharePoint.
Strong understanding of caravan park grounds and maintenance requirements.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting on caravan park operations, and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Current Driver's Licence, Police Clearance, and Senior First Aid Certificate.
Availability to meet operational working hours across a 7-day week roster including weekends, public holidays and reasonable overtime.
Availability to work after hours and on call as per the on-call roster.
