POSITION SUMMARY

The Mortgage Specialist Investor Fulfillment II is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of loan images and collateral files to third-party investors. This role ensures that all documentation meets investor requirements and proactively manages exception findings during due diligence reviews. The specialist will either resolve issues independently or coordinate with internal departments to cure deficiencies, ensuring investor satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.

DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Loan Delivery & Collateral Management
  • Prepare and deliver complete loan packages and collateral files to investors post-closing.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with investor guidelines.
  • Track and confirm receipt of files by investors and custodians.
  • Due Diligence & Exception Handling
  • Review investor feedback and exception reports related to loan documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve findings independently when possible.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and operations teams to cure complex exceptions.
  • Maintain detailed records of exception resolution and investor communications.
  • Monitor investor delivery and cure timelines and escalate delays or issues as needed.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in mortgage fulfillment, post-closing, or investor delivery.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, collateral file management, and investor guidelines.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Experience with due diligence processes and exception resolution.
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems and document imaging software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
