Data Engineer - Senior 

TS/SCI REQUIRED

Location: Springfield, VA 

Position Responsibilities:  

Data Engineer: The Data Engineer shall ensure the integration and interoperability of mission/intelligence data for consumption of the community for peace and crisis situations. 

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain GIS databases and large-scale data processing systems
• Clean, prepare, and transform AP LOB data to support the building of geospatial data pipelines that create curated view of the content for IC consumption
• Apply knowledge of scripting tools, programming languages, standards, and software packages to build the data pipelines that enable the consumption of data supporting AP LOB's mission needs
• Publish geospatial content in the form of data service from a GIS system
• Support the use/development of cloud computing systems and perform automated analytics
