Job Title: Account Executive

Department: Employee Benefits

Location: East Division

Job Summary

As an Account Executive for our East Division, you will act as a key liaison to our clients to educate their employees on insurance product offerings and options to best meet their individual and family needs as well as ensure they select their benefits through the enrollment process on a timely basis. 

Responsibilities

  • Interact professionally with employees, in person or virtually, to educate them on insurance product offerings including whole life insurance, disability, accident, hospital indemnity, vision and other products as necessary 

  • Participate in client meetings/sales calls, employee enrollment meetings, and all service meetings.  Meetings may be held in evenings and Saturday mornings.

  • Act independently in attending virtual and onsite meetings with employee groups to finalize enrollment on the enrollment platform and follow up with employees, who do not complete their enrollment, to help ensure their completion

  • Will assist employees with submitting claims as needed and follow through to resolution

  • Investigate, research and provide timely responses to all service issues including client billing reconciliation

  • Assist with setting up and maintaining client benefit administration technology platforms

  • Lead utilization of benefit-related technology platforms on behalf of clients

  • Perform other responsibilities and assignments to meet business needs

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable on voluntary benefit offerings for employee groups

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with a demonstrated attention to detail

  • Professionally and effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to actively listen

  • Ability to speak effectively with and in front of groups

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, along with demonstrated attention to detail

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Successfully works independently and collaboratively, depending upon the specific needs of the tasks, in all settings (i.e., office, home, clients’ locations, etc.)

  • Uses discretion and acts with confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with all

  • Enjoys a high degree of interaction with team members, and consistently demonstrates high motivation, positive behavior, sense of urgency, and works to achieve goals and objectives

  • Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with experience collaborating efficiently in M365 (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint)

  • Agency Management Software and benefit enrollment system experience of Zevo Benefits preferred

  • Must live within reasonable driving distance of Northern New Jersey territory

Education and/or Experience

  • Spanish Bilingual required

    • College degree or work-related experience with employee benefit insurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Maintain a current New Jersey Life & Health insurance license

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
