Agropur is looking for an inventory control supervisor to join its team in Quebec.

Under the supervision of the warehousing manager, the inventory control supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the follow-up of supply operations, finished product inventories, and internal logistics of their department. They manage their work team by developing strategies to achieve the cooperative's objectives and standards.

• Salary rande 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the responsibilities of the inventory control supervisor are:

• Supervising a team of 6 office technicians;

• Ensuring the cooperative's service level is met;

• Challenging supply/inventory processes;

• Supervising minimum and maximum stocks of all finished products;

• Determining needs and identifying bottlenecks that reduce operational efficiency (Demand analysis, production plan optimization, supply, shipping, and transport);

• Participating in the implementation of an MRP system (SAP);

• Actively participating in month-end activities (Before-During-After);

• Leading meetings with their team;

• Ensuring follow-up on organizational performance keys SQCDME;

• Developing the knowledge and skills of their personnel;

• Ensuring the application of the collective agreement and disciplinary follow-up;

• Ensuring the application of health & safety rules and procedures in their department and in the plant.

What you need to join our team:

• Degree in business administration, operations management, or other related degree;

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory and inventory management role in a unionized environment in the food industry;

• Good mastery of MS Office Suite, SAP or Oracle;

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces).
