The Legal Group Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a in coordination with the Legal team. The overall objective of this role is to provide legal support, advice, and guidance across a broad range of practice areas, with respect to the local laws and regulations of the country or countries for which the role is responsible.
This role leads a team of lawyers providing guidance, support, and legal advice on Citi's businesses and functions in COUNTRY/GEOGRAPHY. This role requires thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the Business, combined with a solid conceptual / practical grounding in the laws and regulations of the geographies in which we operate. Provides input into strategic decisions, exercising sound legal judgement to develop proactive, risk-appropriate, and commercially practical business-oriented solutions. Management responsibility of a team, including management of people and planning.

Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree
El puesto consiste en el titular del área penal de Banamex basado en la CDMX, mismo que reporta al Head de Litigio del Grupo Financiero Banamex. Requisitos específicos:
• Amplia experiencia en el ámbito penal, conocimiento profundo de la legislación penal en materia federal y de las principales jurisdicciones, así como de los procedimientos judiciales aplicables.
• Experiencia en la coordinación de abogados internos y despachos externos, defendiendo y promoviendo casos penales.
• Conocimiento /experiencia en el Sector Financiero (Deseable Bancos, Aseguradoras y Afores). y de la normatividad aplicable a dicho sector, apoyando a los distintos negocios, así como a las áreas de investigación, fraudes, seguridad y relacionadas.
• Título Profesional en Derecho y cedula profesional, preferiblemente con especialización/posgrado
• Deseable manejo de inglés avanzado legal.
• Habilidades interpersonales que incluyen Manejo de equipos, liderazgo,, negociación, comunicación, alto sentido de la ética.
Entre otros se requieren conocimientos avanzados en los siguientes rubros:
• Representación en carpetas de investigación, y juicios penales, principalmente relacionados con delitos patrimoniales, incluyendo la interposición de denuncias, preparación y presentación de pruebas
• Defensa de los intereses de la empresa cuando esta sea víctima u ofendido de delitos cometidos por terceros, o exempleados.
• Coordinación a nivel nacional de los procesos penales del área, coordinando lo necesario en las diversas jurisdicciones donde la empresa tiene presencia,
• Asesorar a la empresa en la implementación de medidas preventivas para evitar la comisión de delitos propios del sector.
