Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Markets Business Management Vice President to join our dynamic team supporting the strategic operations of a global markets business. This role will be responsible for mapping the strategic direction of the business by collating information, producing high-quality presentation materials, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to support senior management in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and exceptional skills in synthesizing complex topics and presenting materials to an executive suite.

Specific Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize financial and business information to produce reports and high quality presentations to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of business reviews, board reports, and strategic planning materials.
  • Provide regular updates to various management groups and committees.
  • Expertise in developing polished and professional presentation materials using PowerPoint and other tools
  • High level of accuracy and quality in producing materials and reports.
  • Aligning various initiatives and projects into a coherent ‘roadmap’ and highlighting dependencies, risks, etc.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research into business initiatives to form a deep understanding and synthesis materials to share with wider group
  • Work with Sales and Trading leads to formulate and represent direction of the business.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Streamline and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Production of monthly performance packs and recurring senior management updates
  • Provide ad-hoc support on special projects and business initiatives as needed.
  • Data Analytics: Providing industry insights and competitor analysis.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, risk, operations, and front-office teams, to gather and share meaningful information on strategic initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Global Markets, Investment Banking, or Finance Services Business Management or Consulting role
  • Prior exposure to senior management reporting and presentations
  • Strong understanding of relevant business performance indicators and industry trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant tools.


The typical base pay range for this role is between $175K - $210K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
