THE ROLE
Under management of supervision, ensures the availability of data needed by the assigned business unit. Works within team and helps create new processes/guidelines and assists with training. Assist with monitoring data or service quality and resolves issues. Completes manual updates and informs manager when there are larger automation needs that would help enhance the work. Works on special projects as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Processing/ Daily Work:

  • Provides support and information for reporting and data updates. May monitor a variety of data checks to ensure the accuracy to minimize risk.
  • Communicate data trends and issues to manager and helps determine a solution to assist in the resolution.
  • Under manager supervision interacts and coordinates with other departments to resolve questions and problems.
  • Assists the subject matter expert for data related projects. Dedicates time to meeting with Business Units to scope out work.
  • May create and produce reports as required to support business users at all levels.
  • Takes on special projects and additional responsibilities as requested.

Processes:

  • Works to find processes that will enhance efficiencies within team.
  • Assists in creating new processes and resolves day to day issues by working with manager.
  • Creates guidelines and training peers on new efficiencies that the team has taken over.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or math-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 0-2+ years of Financial Services industry or data quality experience.
  • Experience using applications and/or technology systems currently used by the business.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to compare data from various sources, database knowledge and macro programming ability.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships within team.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, partnership, and interpersonal skills, collaborating with all organizational levels across MFS.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment as well as exercising independent judgment.
