The Opportunity

Our location in Abbott Park, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Data Strategy & Reporting in our International Nutrition Division.
As a Senior Manager in the Strategic Insights & Analytics team, you will shape the global data ecosystem that powers decision-making across Abbott Nutrition International. 
You will define and execute the global data governance and modernization agenda, elevate data quality standards, and embed AI-enabled analytics into the business. You will drive the 
harmonization of reporting, enhance predictive insight capabilities, and ensure commercial teams are empowered with trusted, actionable intelligence. 
This leader manages a Business Analyst (Abbott Park) and oversees daily coordination with our global partner team in India to ensure high-quality delivery and operational excellence. 

What You’ll Work On
Data Strategy, Governance & AI innovation 

  • Architect and execute a future-ready global data strategy aligned with business goals. Act as a subject matter expert on data governance, master data management and reporting best practices. 

  • Define and implement global data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. 

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that expand data depth, breadth, accessibility, and integration across platforms and markets.  

  • Drive AI and advanced analytics readiness. I frameworks for feature engineering, metadata optimization, and model-ready datasets 

Global Reporting, Modernization & Automation 

  • Lead the design of a harmonized, modern global reporting ecosystem that delivers consistent, scalable, automated performance measurement across all regions 

  • Evaluate and source new data solutions to enhance analytics capabilities.  

  • Ensure broad adoption of reporting tools by coaching stakeholders, promoting data literacy, and strengthening the organization’s data-driven decision culture  

Vendor & Data Management 

  •  Lead relationships with global data vendors, ensuring data quality, value delivery, and alignment with strategic commercial priorities. 

  •  Oversee the partner team in India, ensuring disciplined execution, transparency, and continuous improvement. 

  •  Collaborate with Abbott IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and tools. 

Strategic Insights, Business Impact & Leadership 

  •  Act as a strategic thought partner to regional and aAiliate Insights & Analytics teams, integrating local market intelligence into globally harmonized data strategies. 

  •  Deliver actionable insights across performance, pricing, portfolio optimization, competition, and market dynamics — enabling senior leadership to make evidence-based decisions. 

  •  Support Financial Planning & Analysis and Commercial leadership during planning cycles with robust insights, scenario modeling, and data storytelling. 

  •  Coach and develop your direct report to build strong analytical, technical, and consulting capabilities while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. 

Required Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). 

  •  10+ years of experience in data governance, analytics, and reporting in global or matrixed organizations. 

  •  Deep expertise with data governance frameworks, cloud data ecosystems (AWS), and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau). 

  •  Experience with AI-enabled analytics, automation technologies, APIs, and modern data integration methods. 

  •  Extensive experience with syndicated consumption and retail datasets (NielsenIQ, IQVIA, BrandIQ, SmartPath) and consumer insight sources (Kantar, etc.). 

  •  Proven track record managing data vendors, oAshore teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. 

  •  Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into strategic, commercially relevant insights. 

  •  Exceptional communication, visualization, and stakeholder management skills.

The base pay for this position is

$129,300.00 – $258,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
