We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support our team in Zürich.

About the Team:
FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform is a front-to-back, cross product and cross asset Securities Finance, Trading and Enterprise collateral management platform.

About the Role:
You are part of the SFTC core development team in Zurich. As an Agile Senior Quality Analyst you strengthen the existing cross functional Scrum teams, contributing towards the quality assurance process and implementation of the automation tests. Managing the Test Management process for the product releases.

You develop large and/or complex quality solutions that require complex analysis and research for the SFTC product. You work on multiple SFTC initiatives as a quality lead or frequently as the subject matter expert. As a Senior Agile Quality analyst coach and mentor junior technical staff and enhance the quality process working with the team.

SFTC is a cloud-native and REST API-driven platform, built on a stack that includes Java and Angular web-based frameworks. For testing, we utilize Java (Integration tests), Selenium WebDriver (Web UI tests), JMeter and Swagger (API testing).

Key Responsibilities and Objectives:

• Improve and further develop testing strategies of our agile development practice.
• Execute sound testing methodologies in the form of integration testing, system testing, performance testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing.
• Ownership for quality of a release and release management test procedures, responsible for internal testing phase
• Planning, design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts; both automated and manual for use within the test strategies and user stories to meet the business requirements.
• Identify, track and report application defects in accordance with functional and detail design specifications.
• Engage in both manual and automated testing in line with project deliverables.
• Organize and participate in Regression testing.
• Participate in our agile, test-driven development process, planning sessions, and work closely with team members to analyse requirements and provide design recommendations.

Knowledge/Experience Required:

• Be extremely dynamic, confident and an excellent communicator – must be able to put points across in a salient and effective manner.
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance including test case scripting and test execution desired.
• Previous Experience with Automated Testing. (Experience with tools such as Selenium, SOAPUI, JMeter or Quality Centre or other).
• Familiarity with test management tools and systems.
• Good technical understanding. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases,
• Experience with testing Web Applications, Enterprise Java based solutions.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Experience as a team member on projects while working in a cross-functional team environment.
• Have an excellent command of and be fluent in the English language.

Added bonus if you have:

• Advanced proficiency in at least one appropriate quality management and improvement methodology, e.g., Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, Software Engineering Institute – Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM)
• Understanding of financial markets and experience with financial systems
