Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with different stakeholders and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- SAP Rise ECS Methodology and ways of working (how raise Service Requests, Incidents, SAP for Message )
- Senior SAP Basis knowledge & Troubleshooting S/4HANA errors (logs, performance, configuration etc )
- S/4HANA Upgrades steps and actions (required along project roadmap although Basis actions are performed by SAP RISE ECS team)
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- SAP BTP Platform (Priority 2)
- Administrator skills: Subaccount Management, Service Activation, Connectivity
- Security BTP aspects, for example IAS
- Nice to have, practical experience for below products:
- Implementations in Azure, Network topics
- Other SAP Products in scope: SAP WWI, Ariba, SAC, Datasphere,
- Non SAP Products: Syniti, NextLabs, OpenText, Integration Suite, SAP SAC


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Experience in managing SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ability to monitor and maintain system health, including backup and recovery procedures.
- Familiarity with database administration and integration with SAP systems.
- Skilled in automation of routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
