Job Title – Lead Software Engineer

The Purpose of Your Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering for our Data Distribution Services products. These platforms are deeply data-centric, enabling critical data flows across the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of data validation, API testing, automation practices, and modern QE principles.

You will partner closely with Product Owners, business teams, engineering groups, and other key stakeholders in an agile environment. A continuous focus on automation, data correctness, and engineering excellence is essential. As a QE leader, you are expected to guide the team, improve processes, and ensure high-quality releases for our data-driven products.

• Ability to understand and reverse-engineer existing applications and data flows.

• A solid product mindset, ensuring focus on customer value and usability.

Technical / Behavioral Skills

• Extensive experience in systems analysis, test strategy, test design, automation development, and validation of enterprise-scale applications.

• Expertise in:

  • API Testing (manual + automation)

  • SQL and data validation

  • Automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Rest-Assured, Playwright

  • Basic programming skills (for test automation development)

• Strong experience with Agile / iterative development methodologies.

• Robust understanding of QE best practices and automation strategy.

• Python experience is a strong plus, especially as the organization is transitioning to PyFlowx, a Python-based framework for data testing.

The Good-to-Have Skills

• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• 6 to 9 years of experience in Quality Engineering or related IT roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
