About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager of Commercial who will manage a team of Account Executives responsible for selling Fivetran products across various industries. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, strategic vision, and the drive to improve team performance. They should also be capable of achieving exceptional business results while continuously developing their team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the team to generate pipeline, close revenue, and attain individual and organizational quotas.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland office.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of new business acquisition AEs.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve predictable forecasting through effective sales management.
  • Coach and mentor AEs on sales process, providing consistent feedback and reviewing deals.
  • Manage pipeline development and ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with senior leadership to align on sales strategy and achieve company goals.
  • Foster a positive and productive team culture that encourages continuous learning and growth.
  • Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing necessary changes to optimize performance.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of success in managing and developing sales teams, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, including pipeline management, deal closing, and customer relationship building.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Analytical skills to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.​

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or  benefits, if applicable. 


Pay Range
$96,000$120,000 USD
