Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure and Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organizational functions. You will work closely with other IT team members and departments to deliver mission-critical infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
• Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
• Administer enterprise systems such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Exchange, and backup solutions.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Maintain and improve networking infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Ensure security best practices across systems and participate in audits and compliance processes.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management.
• Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Provide tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues and outages.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in systems and infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, RedHat Openshift).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or RHCE.
• Experience in high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
• Experience with compliance standards (ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
