What You Will Do:


The Senior Project Management Consultant will join Guidehouse to support a public diplomacy office at the Department of State. The client transitioned to a new operating model after completing a multi-year effort to modernize and restructure the Department’s public affairs sections at overseas embassies and consulates. The office is working to improve processes related to knowledge management, communications, collaboration, and leveraging new tools and technology. 
 
In this role, the candidate will support the project management operations for the stand up and refinement of the updated operating model and customer support organization. The candidate will work with the client to provide advice and assistance to customers, as well as develop new and review current processes, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of a case management system and other tools as identified. The candidate will also support outreach to and collaboration with overseas missions, scheduling with global teams, data collection and reporting, and communications.
 
Day to day responsibilities may include: 

  • Project management of a Salesforce platform, to include managing requirements and customization of Salesforce.

  • Develop, maintain, and refine standard operating procedures related to customer management and case routing.

  • Coordinate across business units and support internal and external communications, collaboration, and coordination. 

  • Collect and manage data from multiple sources, report and communicate updates, and refine operating procedures based on updated requirements.

  • Support the integration of various stakeholder management and customer experience platforms to include Salesforce and Asana.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • A Bachelor's degree 

  • FOUR (4) years of experience with project management and/or executive level support

  • TWO (2) years of experience with implementation and management of a Salesforce platform


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • State Department experience (or other international agency) 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Prior consulting experience 

  • Ability to learn and manage a variety of technology platforms 

  • Experience in Asana 

  • Experience with data collection and/or data information sharing 

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
