U.S. Bank is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technology Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio management, reporting, and strategic initiatives within our Technology organization. This role offers strong visibility into enterprise technology initiatives and is ideal for an early-career professional with a consulting-style skillset and strong capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, and executive communication.

 

This person will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to support portfolio tracking, produce executive-ready deliverables, and contribute to reporting and strategic initiatives. They will play a key role in translating data and project updates into clear, polished materials for leadership, while operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support portfolio and program management activities across technology initiatives
  • Track and report on project and portfolio status, risks, and key metrics
  • Build executive-ready PowerPoint presentations for leadership updates, town halls, and strategic initiatives
  • Perform Excel-based analysis including reporting, data validation, and dashboard creation (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Develop resiliency and stability reporting across technology tools and systems
  • Support financial tracking and planning activities, including annual planning cycles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to gather and synthesize information
  • Translate complex or unstructured inputs into clear, concise, and polished deliverables
  • Support ad hoc requests and special projects, including emerging AI and strategic initiatives

 

Must-have skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in an analytical, consulting, or PMO-related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and deliverables
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

 

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience in consulting, PMO, program management, or portfolio reporting environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or project/program management frameworks
  • Exposure to risk, compliance, audit, or operational reporting
  • Experience supporting technology-focused teams or initiatives
  • Interest in or exposure to AI tools or technology strategy work

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,095.00 - $130,700.00
