Agropur is looking for a Demand Planning & Customer Collaboration Manager to join its team in St-Hubert.
As a Demand Planning & Customer Collaboration Manager, you will play a strategic role in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle. You will be responsible for driving the demand management process and working closely with the Commercial, Marketing, and Supply teams.
Your mission includes developing a demand plan based on market trends and consumption patterns, with accountability for achieving forecast accuracy targets—critical to ensuring service quality and financial predictability. You will also be a key contributor to the continuous improvement of processes and tools supporting these objectives. Finally, this role includes managing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for designated accounts.

Salary scale 006: $98,400 to $123,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
What this role involves:
More specifically, as a Demand Planning & Customer Collaboration Manager, your responsibilities include:
Define a 12- to 24-month demand plan with the Sales team.
Develop the monthly baseline demand by incorporating forward-looking assumptions (growth, seasonality, promotions, price changes, cannibalization, discontinuations).
Continuously improve forecasts by analyzing promotional activities, customer inventories, consumption trends, and their impact on service levels.
Monitor forecast accuracy, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
Optimize planning processes and tools through advanced analytics and automation.
Organize the monthly business review with Sales and internal teams.
Maintain a robust planning cadence with customers and participate in strategic “Top-to-Top” meetings.
Collaborate with inventory managers, supply chain, and S&OP process owners to ensure strategic alignment and continuous improvement.
Drive the implementation of customer improvement plans to support sales growth.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding objectives and initiatives.
Optimize product management to improve EBITDA and reduce total service cost.
Contribute to customer network optimization and present KPI performance with corrective actions.
Participate in defining forecasting and replenishment policies in line with S&OP standards.
Coach the CPFR Analyst (Fine Cheese) and oversee demand planning and VMI functions.
Support the team in managing daily workloads and operational challenges.
Establish individual development plans to enhance functional and managerial skills.
Manage employee relations: work orientation, hiring, training, performance evaluations, policy and procedure compliance, disciplinary measures, and salary recommendations.
Ensure implementation of departmental objectives, policies, and guidelines.
Exercise supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Intervene to stop any observed unsafe act and adhere to site safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any identified hazard.
Support safety policies and programs.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Supply Chain, Finance) required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Supply Planning role, including people management required.
Experience working in a CPG environment, in a Integrated Business Planning (IBP) position.
APICS and Six Sigma Certifications are a plus.
Strong problem solving as well as strategic thinking skills.
Ability to benchmark best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, planning and inventory management methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the supply planning process.
Exceptional change management skills in terms of adopting and leveraging tools and technology.
Proven ability to develop and build high performing teams and strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
Systems: SAP IBP and any other statistical sales forecasting system, Microsoft PowerBI or any other similar software, Advanced MS Excel and Power Point. Python, Alteryx. Supply Chain or other forecasting Certifications is plus.
