Summer 2025 Work Term

Term Length: 4 months

Term Start: May 5, 2025

Term End: August 22, 2025

As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

The Analyst is accountable for supporting the Manager to achieve the West Pricing strategy through price matching. In addition, the incumbent will assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Category Director supporting the Super Market Division.

Accountabilities:

  • Execute price matching activity (ad & shelf)
  • Manage target modeling.
  • Daily price maintenance
  • Monitor competitive communication activities and recommend responses to West pricing team
  • Input ads into JDA
  • Manage extra stock in warehouse by means of distros.
  • Ordering special events by means of retail purchase orders.
  • Produce and manage reports through MicroStrategy.
  • Store support by means of portal issues, scan logs and emails.
     

Role Requirements:

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Outstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute to promotional and pricing programs.
