Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components and designing solutions tailored to client requirements. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of the software to ensure functionality and reliability. Additionally, the engineer dedicates time to maintaining existing systems, implementing enhancements, and developing new features to meet evolving business needs. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is an integral part of the daily routine to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document design specifications and code changes to maintain clear project records.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects to improve system performance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and transaction lifecycle.
- Experience with integration of payment gateways and APIs.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements related to payments.
- Ability to analyze and optimize payment system performance.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting payment-related issues and implementing fixes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Payments Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
