DePuy Synthes is currently recruiting for a Rapid Response Lead in VELYS Enabling Tech based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL!

DePuy-Synthes (DPS), part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Rapid Response Lead as part of the VELYS Enabling Tech Digital team to be located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This individual will be a first point of contact for global internal customers with the primary goal to be managing inventory deployments, facilitating prioritization, expediting orders, ensuring that clear and consistent communication is provided in a structured way to those global customers and partners. This person will directly support the VELYS Robotics, Capital and Navigation product lines inclusive of Knee, Spine, Hip, and Trauma solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to manage and directly respond to order prioritization and status, ensuring the upmost levels of clarity, focus, and attention are utilized to ensure satisfaction and service
  • Lead the development of an improved and stable process to share status of orders with key internal stakeholders and customers supporting our transition from new product launch to a stable and growing business
  • Manage inventory levels in partnership with the Digital VSL, Product Managers, and Global Marketing to ensure as many customers as possible can be supported
  • Support new product launches ensuring clear supply flow to enable requirement fulfillment
  • Partner with Production Planning, Distribution, Regional Supply Chain, DRP Planning, Customer Service, Regional and Global Marketing to ensure robotic deployment plans are met on a daily / weekly / monthly / annual basis
  • Work with Digital VSL to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and then lead the execution of those projects
  • Support strategic projects as bandwidth and capacity allow
  • Role needs to be in the Palm Beach Gardens office

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or related field highly preferred; Advanced degree such as a M.S. or MBA a plus

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience required
  • Production planning, distribution planning, distribution, or corporate customer service experience is required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in alignment to support global partners is required

Preferred:

  • APICS; CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred
  • MBA is preferred

Other:

  • English Fluency is required
  • Up to 25% of travel both domestically and internationally is required
