Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working in Learning Management Preferred.

Job Summary

Provides ongoing support for key programs and projects within the Learning and Development team including coordination of instructor led training, virtual instructor led training, team-based learning, and new hire orientation.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Provides project support including meeting coordination, ordering materials and resources, and managing email communication mailbox.
  • Performs basic functions in the Learning Management system which may include service ticket administration, user support, running reports, etc.
  • Coordinates logistics for meetings, events, and training sessions encompassing focus groups, HR Train the Trainer sessions, and internal learner training, while also handling catering, materials, and the reservation of physical meeting spaces.
  • Handles day-to-day vendor management while managing and rendering invoices.
  • Maintains department web page, including knowledge article creation and updates.
  • Provides on-site program such as classroom setup, assisting with requests during course, and managing the venue setup and cleanup.
  • Prepares documents and presentations for use in department meetings, management presentations, and learning events.
  • Assists with the "production" of virtual learning sessions.
  • Responsible for co-facilitating and facilitating learning content and answering learner questions in an ILT/VILT setting.

     

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
  • None.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
