Interested in working for a company that sets the standard and leads with integrity? Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Public Policy/Government Affairs professional to manage relationships with a growing network of external stakeholders. This includes national government entities, multilateral government organizations, public-private partnerships, and NGO/private partner organizations–including think tanks, academic institutions, trade groups/associations, etc. The candidate will learn CrowdStrike’s full portfolio of capabilities and advocate for the company effectively. The ideal candidate has recent, applied government/public policy experience with such organizations, demonstrated interest, and a meaningful background in international cybersecurity policy issues.

Must be a highly-organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment; be able to both lead and follow; be able to operate independently and across federated teams and across cultures; and successfully build and maintain strong relationships with executives, staff, and a variety of external stakeholders globally. Candidates with operational cybersecurity experience are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

This is an important role within our Privacy & Public Policy organization, which is situated within the Office of the President. The team is globally distributed and integral to CrowdStrike’s corporate and technology strategy.

  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with government entities, partner organizations, and external stakeholders throughout the Asia Pacific, India, and beyond, spanning distinct workplace cultures and timezones.

  • Lead and manage lobbying efforts in the region and represent CrowdStrike in industry associations. Monitor and analyze government budget developments and initiatives.

  • Manage a wide variety of CrowdStrike-supported projects and engagements. Coordinate, staff, and support CrowdStrike principal-level meetings and events. Provide logistical and administrative support for these opportunities as necessary.

  • Facilitate quick-turnaround feedback from internal subject matter experts on time-sensitive projects and manage longer-term project delivery. Help distill CrowdStrike policy positions, sometimes regarding highly technical, rapidly-developing issues. Clearly and persuasively communicate these positions to stakeholders. Manage and contribute substantially to Requests for Comment (RFCs) on policy issues.

  • Proactively identify business risks and opportunities related to public policy developments.

  • Partner with and advise internal Legal, Marketing, Technology Strategy, and Public Sector/Sales teams.

  • Assist with other U.S. and international policy-related opportunities and initiatives, as appropriate.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, master’s degree preferred.

  • Applied experience in Singapore and supplementary regional expertise in one or more major regional markets (i.e., Japan, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and/or New Zealand). Applicable foreign language proficiency is a plus.

  • Direct policymaking or government operational experience

  • Proven track record of monitoring technical and/or cybersecurity policy issues.

  • Outstanding writing skills, professionalism, and an aptitude for briefing and public speaking.

  • Ability to manage outside lobbyists and/or consultants.

  • High degree of endurance and flexibility, with the ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.

  • Effective team player with the ability to meet project deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Bonus qualifications: Expertise in privacy, competition, trade, and consumer protection issues; formal legal training/experience.
