About our Team

Our team is dedicated to enhancing organizational data quality on a global scale. We specialize in curating organizations, utilizing our expertise in diverse geographies and policies. With strong research skills and resilience, we extract valuable information from various websites. We work on an internal Tool, called OrgTool which works on matching algorithms, fuzzy logic to match affiliations to organizations. All of this needs validation which is done by humans and what machines cannot do, is done by humans and that is what we are looking for in the candidates. We collaborate indirectly with global teams, including Data Science, Technical, and Analytics teams. Our success is driven by effective communication and a strong team spirit.

About the Role

As Data research Analyst you have to discover and evaluate sources of information, handle multiple languages, collect facts from various sources, and organize them coherently.
 

Responsibilities

  • Applying the correct policies and procedures in routine data curation and determine when exceptional treatment is required  

  • Making independent decisions in the context of curation, ensure data accuracy, detect and correct errors, and understand the impact of curation on the product  

  • Being able to think abstractly and collect and classify entities such as person and organization names, organizational structure, scientific expertise, and related entities 

  • Being able to understand complex ideas and organize information into categories. 

  • Identifying gaps in personal productivity, receive feedback, and respond with strategies to improve individual productivity  


Requirements

  • Should have exceptional web research skills, a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, and an ability to learn about new areas quickly.

  • Effectively identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor documentation for different audiences and purpose

  • A college or university degree is required along with a minimum of 2-3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Familiarity with the structure and activities of academic and research producing organizations and bibliographic databases covering research literature

  • Develop cooperative working relationships and mutually beneficial relationships within and across teams

  • Volunteer for new job responsibilities or projects and identify areas for improvement.

  • Good Listener with Urge to take on challenging assignments to benefit the team proactively
