The Opportunity: Driving Strategic Value Realization

We are looking for a strategic leader to serve as the architect of our Value Management Office (VMO). In this role, you will drive the evolution of our value framework to ensure enterprise investments consistently deliver maximum business value. You will be a key driver in shifting our organizational mindset from project delivery to a sophisticated culture of measurable value realization leveraging data-driven strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

  • Strategic Framework Ownership: Standardize and own the end-to-end value management lifecycle, by developing a data-driven system for prioritizing and evaluating strategic investments.

  • Investment Decision Support: Empower leadership at Portfolio Syncs and Strategic Portfolio Reviews with objective, data-driven insights that enable confident prioritization and "pivot, persevere, or stop" decisions on high-value initiatives.

  • Data Integrity & Executive Transparency: Establish a "single source of truth" for the enterprise by instituting a rigorous data governance framework and managing automated dashboards that provide real-time visibility into portfolio health and OKR progress.

  • Portfolio Throughput Optimization: Identify systemic bottlenecks across the enterprise by analyzing portfolio flow metrics (e.g., Flow Time, Efficiency) to help improve delivery speed and throughput.

  • Financial Alignment: Partner with Portfolio Operations to ensure investment spend aligns with strategic intent through the modeling and tracking of Lean Budget Guardrails.

  • Capability Building & Coaching: Serve as the enterprise Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Value Management, uplifting the proficiency of Epic Owners and Portfolio Managers in creating high-quality business cases and tracking post-delivery value.

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate across the Product Operating Model to ensure VMO standards are seamlessly integrated into the daily workflows of Product and Portfolio leadership.

  • High-Performance Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multi-regional team of seven specialists across the US, UK, and India, fostering a data-driven culture focused on operational excellence and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in Portfolio Management, Project Management, or Consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.

  • Analytical Power: Proven ability to conduct deep quantitative analysis and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.

  • Agile Expertise: Strong mastery of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks and their application in enterprise governance.

  • Technical Vision: Experience defining data and reporting requirements for enterprise tools; hands-on experience with Jira Align or Looker is a significant advantage.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Credentials

  • Relevant certifications: PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Agilist.

  • Experience partnering with a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE).
