Essential Functions
1. Responsible for achieving company objectives and goals.
2. Promote and ensure that all staff is adhering to Flagship’s safety culture.
3. Develop and maintain an employee engagement program that is based on Flagship core values.
4. Assist the Operations Manager achieving company objectives and goals.
5. Partner with Human Resources to meet state/federal/local/CBA (collective bargaining agreement) compliances and adherence to Company policy.
6. Establish a strong working relationship with the client and all cross functional partners.
7. Create & implement additional best practices, and solution-oriented systems which will develop strong leadership amongst the management team.
8. Work with department heads to implement SOPs and process flows to enhance the guest experience.
9. Identify the areas of opportunity within the operation. Create and implement solutions to these areas to increase performance.
10. Responsible for ensuring monthly training and compliance needs are completed by deadline.
11. Provide weekly/monthly reporting metrics to the head of operations in a timely manner.
12. May serve as Project Manager during kitchen buildouts, partnering with client and internal core support teams to ensure successful opening.
13. Assist in short/long-term tasks/ projects that help the customer advance their objectives.
14. Follow both Flagship and customer protocols and ensure all staff adhere.
15. Conducts weekly operational meetings with frontline leaders to provide guidance, support and motivation.
16. Ensure co-employment expectations are well defined and that leaders are operating accordingly.
17. Ensure client satisfaction by executing deliverables and showing consistent value.
18. Foster and promote the Flagship brand and values within the client’s culinary culture.
19. Ensure all staff needs/concerns are triaged and addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Escalates matters to the head of operations or HR as needed.
20. Ensures the inventory of food, supplies, materials, and equipment is adequate to meet guest demand.
21. Collaborates with the Kitchen Managers/Front of House Managers/ Sous Chefs to implement trainings and/or programs.
22. Motivates and leads by example through all interactions in alignment with the Company Values.
23. Fosters a work environment of compassion, service, and respect.
24. Participates in administering company policies.
25. Delivers key projects and tracks performance reports in support of culinary operations.
26. Conducts regular training sessions for employees on the job procedures and safety.
27. Responsible for consistently meeting the Company’s Key Performance Indicators [i.e., safety, staffing levels, attrition, etc.].
28. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

Education and Work Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or 3 to 5 years of chef experience.
Work Environment
The work environment includes the following large kitchen environment elements and exposures:
1. Fast paced kitchen, in which interruptions are considered normal.
2. Sharing workspace with others.
3. Moderate to high noise level.
4. Slippery/uneven surfaces may be encountered.
Requirements
1. Must have and maintain an active management level food handler certification ( i.e. ServSafe and/or other local state required certification) and adhere to local health guidelines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
1. Regularly sit, type, and use the mouse up to 8 hours a day.
2. Regularly talk or hear up to 8 hours a day.
3. Regularly sit and stand from chair up to 40 times a day.
