The hiring range for this role is:  

107,666.00 - 150,995.00

Develop product strategies and solutions to address emerging regulatory and market requirements for national healthcare delivery using agile development methodologies. Provides project leadership and interfaces with Blue Plans across the System and various technology and analytical teams/applications. Supports the analysis and design of business processes that address national market requirements and/or supports new technical implementations. Responsible for defining business requirements and enhancements obtaining appropriate approvals from governing committees as needed as well as supporting through implementation including training and documentation.

Conducts detailed research on emerging business opportunities, including impacts to business models for various operational functions across healthcare. Leads the development and presentation of materials to various audiences across Blue Plans to obtain direction to meet market and business needs.

Conducts requirements gathering and analysis to support business needs, and develops strategy, policy, and operational recommendations for leadership. Develops the required business case and vision based on input from Sr. Management, Plan executives, user groups, workgroups or governance representatives.

Works with business and technical teams to assure effective development, testing and implementation of new capabilities using agile methodologies. Presents project scope, status and coordinates trainings to various levels of staff.

Lead pilot and all Plan implementation efforts. Develops manuals and educational materials in support of Plan training on new technical opportunities including SOPs, user guides, training presentations, all-Plan calls and demos, best practice sharing forums and others. Partners with Plans in training internal staff.

Create, Manage and present project roadmap, scope, status and other various project updates for Plans and internal leadership. Partners with Plans and BCBSA staff to ensure clear understanding of timeframes, deliverables, business expectations, and anticipated outcomes.

Coaches and mentors business and scrum team members

Education

Bachelors and or Masters Degree.









Experience

Seven years’ experience in a combination of both product/business development and operations within the healthcare industry

Minimum of five years’ experience in business process design analysis as well as business system design.



Blue Cross Blue Shield experience

Demonstrated experience managing a full product development cycle using agile methodologies

Conceptual experience in systems development, designs and methodologies


Skills

Understanding of agile development methodologies.

Strong background of Health Care industry and Health insurance processes.

Project management/leadership

Relationship development across various levels of staff.

Strong communication, writing and presentation skills

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Ability to motivate others to work together as part of a team is key

Ability to negotiate solutions to problems independently
