PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.

Purpose

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Production, MIPS and C&A Management teams.  The assistant also has the duty to do research and compile business-related information and may be assigned to perform work to relieve other members of the management team. Furthermore, the assistant is expected to contribute to the daily tasks that are contributing to the general efficiency of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contribute in increasing team efficiency by giving support both operationally and administratively
  • Perform administrative tasks 
  • Make innovations for the creation of company procedures and policies as a means for improving company practice, work and organizational structure
  • Assist company meetings and events
  • Create standard operating procedures and establish spreadsheets and databases for the company
  • Support the Grow/Farm/Production/MIPS/C&A teams with the correspondence and phone communications to facilitate processing of items

Motivate and work together with employees to meet and exceed production goals

  • Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established company policies and procedures
  • Support the Grow/Farm/Production/MIPS/C&A teams by monitoring the activities of employees to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and respond to customer’s needs in a timely fashion
  • Other duties as assigned 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

  • Solid organizational and communication skills, the Administrative Assistant must be able to fully support all aspects of the company, including but not limited to: compliance, ordering product, inventory control, loss prevention, etc.
  • Ability to partner with managers on operational matters
  • Ability to work with vendors and agencies to produce results 
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees and vendors maintaining a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to creatively cultivate long- term customer relationships 
  • Ability to deal with and resolve problems  in a professional manner

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree preferred or an additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in retail or customer service environment

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must be able to obtain a Key or Support badge through the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division
