About Samsung AdsRole and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
Sales Package & Sponsorship Development: Build the foundations and frameworks for sales package and sponsorship development; and lead the creation and evolution of sales packages, sponsorship proposals and customised client packages tailored to specific verticals and business needs including sales materials, pitch decks, and solution one-pagers.
Narrative & Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives and case studies that highlight the success and effectiveness of our advertising solutions, tailored to different verticals and client segments.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Build the framework and processes to effectively capture market and competitive intelligence. Lead research initiatives to gather and synthesise market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights, redefining them into actionable strategies for sales and product teams.
Claims Development: Develops external claims showcasing product capabilities, supported by robust data and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with other departments to align messaging, ensure consistent positioning, and support go-to-market initiatives.
Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the tools, insights, and training they need to effectively communicate our value proposition, sponsorship opportunities, and close deals.
Thought Leadership: Support Strategic Marketing with the creation of externally facing thought leadership content, including whitepapers and industry insights, to position our brand as a leader in the advertising ecosystem.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Demonstrated ability in Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Sponsorship Strategy, Go-To-Market Strategy, or a related role within the ad tech or advertising industry.
Proven track record in developing sales packages, sponsorship offerings, narratives, and market intelligence strategies.
Experience establishing new process, structure and frameworks to support a new function and deliver business impact.
Strong background in claims development and managing externally validated statements in compliance with legal and industry standards.
Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex products and data into compelling sales content.
Strong analytical approach with experience in market research, sponsorship strategies, and competitive analysis.
Experience building effective working relationships cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, Analytics, Pricing, Partnerships, Legal and Operations teams.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Action-orientated, and takes initiative and ownership to deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with pan-European media, ad tech, specialising in video, TV and/or CTV advertising and advertising markets, is preferable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; have the ability to simplify complex topics; and effectively collaborate and build relationships across multiple functions and seniority levels.
What does success look like?
Success will be evident through strong working relationships with key collaborators across Product Marketing and collaborator teams, and the successful development and execution of sales enablement initiatives to help drive and grow ad revenue.
The candidate should immerse themselves into learning about the Samsung Ads business, our products and the key needs and challenges of our client-facing teams and their clients. They should then apply this learning to develop sales enablement initiatives and materials that help client-facing teams address key challenges and equip them to effectively pitch in the market.
The interview process
There will be 3 interviews and a final in-person presentation to a panel of interviewers, comprised of stakeholders the candidate would work closely with in their role.
Interviewers to be confirmed but will include the hiring manager (Director of Product Marketing, EMEA), as well as stakeholders from the Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Analytics & Insights and Client Services teams.
