Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Mid-Career Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in Plano, TX.  The selected candidate will support a variety of financial planning activities within Boeing Global Services including:  detailed financial forecasts, long range business planning activities, and investor relations. This individual will have prime responsibility for completing executive reporting of financials for Boeing Global Services (Board of Directors, Executive Council, BGS Leadership Team, BGS Finance Leadership Team), managing and reporting BGS level Opportunities and Risks, and other ad hoc financial analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and analyzes integrated financial statement forecasts for programs, business units or the enterprise
  • Integrates and develops long-range business plan (LRBP) for the company
  • Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports
  • Performs variance analyses and provides understanding of financial performance to management
  • Analyzes external financial statements results and projections in support of quarterly earnings release and quarterly/annual Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings
  • Builds relationships with key corporate and other business partners to support financial performance projections

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a finance related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $85,000 - $115,000
