Mandatory skills

Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST, Relational Database (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL Database(any), APIs, Azure or Any Cloud Experience, Kafka

Preferred skills

Ecommerce, Git, OpenAPI, Observability and Monitoring platform experience (like Grafana/Dyanatrace/Newrelic etc), Design Patterns and Microservice Patterns.

Communication Skills

• Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, work with architects to come to an agreed technical approach, and lead development efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively with or lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.

• Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes in significant technical decision-making.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work with different business groups as well as IT partners (enterprise architects, vendors, etc.)

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience/training

• 8-12 years of experience in Java building web applications in a J2EE Environment

• Experience in application development, testing, implementation and documentation of web based applications using Java

• Experience in J2EE development including Spring, REST, Eclipse, Git, SQL, Kafka.

• Experience with NoSQL Databases, PostgresSQL (Mandatory)

• Implement backend APIs using RESTful principles and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot / Webspere.

• Ensure seamless integration with frontend systems, databases, and third-party services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the backend codebase.

• Experience creating and configuring deployments in Jenkins

• Experience with Cloud, OpenShift is preferred

• Experience in inventory domain preferred

• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with a high-level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Demonstrated knowledge in building, debugging and maintaining mission critical enterprise applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers and lead the development efforts

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and with a dispersed team
