POSITION SUMMARY: 

Evaluate and settle property damage claims with adverse carriers and claimants within available liability coverage limits.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Verify coverage and liability decisions for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee claim inventory utilizing best practices to actively move claim forward to resolution.
  • Investigate all property damage claims by identifying all potential claimants
  • Secure and evaluate amount of damages involved.
  • Submit for manager approvals on claims exceeding settlement authority.
  • Negotiate settlements with adverse parties on a fair and equitable basis and secure releases accordingly.
  • Process payments in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Correspond with insureds, adverse parties, attorneys, claim representatives, and others by telephone, email, or SMS.
  • Resolve all claims in accordance with regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.

POSITION QUALFICIATIONS: 

  • High school diploma or GED, Four year college a plus
  • Minimum 1 year prior auto claims handling experience
  • Obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be detail oriented with strong planning and organization skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

  • This is a hybrid role with weekly reporting into our Dallas, Texas office
