Job Summary

The AI Transformation Intern will play a hands-on role in accelerating enterprise transformation initiatives through applied artificial intelligence, automation, and modern ways of working. This is an opportunity for intellectually curious, highly analytical university students to tackle real business problems, experiment with cutting-edge AI tools, and help rethink how work gets done at scale. Interns will collaborate with transformation leaders to prototype solutions, challenge legacy processes, and turn emerging technology into measurable business outcomes.

 Role Description 

  • Apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to solve complex business and operational challenges across transformation programs. 

  • Use generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and emerging platforms) to accelerate research, synthesis, documentation, analysis, and solution design. 

  • Analyze existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and step-change improvements through AI-enabled ways of working. 

  • Design and prototype AI-enabled workflows, decision-support tools, and productivity accelerators across functional domains (finance, operations, IT, customer experience, etc.). 

  • Translate ambiguous problem statements into structured hypotheses, experimentation plans, and data-driven insights. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and scale AI-powered solutions that fast-track transformation outcomes. 

  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities, models, and tooling, bringing fresh thinking and innovative ideas into enterprise environments. 

  • Document learnings, insights, and solutions in a clear, compelling way suitable for executive and technical audiences. 

  • Contribute to building repeatable playbooks and frameworks for applying AI across transformation initiatives. 

 

Skill Level Requirements 

  • Strong foundation in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, or related technical fields (academic or applied). 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with modern AI and generative AI tools, such as:  

  • Microsoft Copilot 

  • ChatGPT 

  • Claude 

  • Similar large language model (LLM) platforms and AI developer tools 

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges. 

  • Ability to rapidly learn, experiment, and adapt to new technologies, tools, and ways of working. 

  • Experience or coursework in areas such as algorithms, data structures, machine learning, natural language processing, or software engineering. 

  • Comfort working with data, models, prompts, and experimentation to test and refine AI-driven solutions. 

  • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Self-directed, intellectually curious, and motivated by impact, innovation, and real-world application of emerging technology. 

  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and propose bold, creative solutions.
