Athena Capital Advisors, now operating as Fiduciary Trust International, is hiring a seasoned Client Service Associate (CSA) in the greater Boston Area. We are a specialized wealth management firm (RIA firm) serving UHNW investors, and we build diversified portfolios through an endowment style of investing, impact investing, outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) services and family office support services. In 2020, Athena Capital Advisors merged with Fiduciary Trust International, a division of Franklin Templeton.

Our team in Lincoln, MA located approximately 20 minutes outside of Boston, is hiring an experienced Client Service Associate (CSA) to join the Relationship Management team. The CSA has a broad range of responsibilities overseeing the operational and administrative aspects for a group of client relationships. This is an excellent position for anyone looking to work within relationship management and service ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients. This is a hybrid position with two days each week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing client accounts for UHNW clients and families, including multi-generational family accounts. Accounts may also include foundations, endowments and family offices
Regular interaction with a highly sophisticated client base
Working on a three-person client relationship management team, including a Portfolio Manager, you will ensure a high level of client relationship management and client follow up
Movement of client money, processing wire transfers, and onboarding new clients into our organization
Alternative investment administration
Active participation in client meetings
Client interaction and ad hoc requests
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years’ professional work experience in a client facing role essential
Financial Services industry experience required, preferably in the high-net-worth (HNW) space, private wealth management, a family office, or with a registered investment advisor (RIA)
A team player with effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, as well as work effectively with other departments
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Superior communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating to a sophisticated client base

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $85,000 and $115,00.
