Raytheon's Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) is seeking a Risk & Opportunity Project Manager to join their Product Support team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting programs within the Product Support portfolio of programs, including programs within Global Patriot. This position will be responsible for supporting program management (PM) to include direct engagement with the program team in program execution; advocating PM plans, processes, and business objectives; and the implementation of PM best practices. This role will be ONSITE, McKinney ,TX; Tucson AZ; Huntsville, AL; or Andover, MA

What You Will Do

  • Leadership and management of all program risk and opportunity (R&O) across multiple life cycle phase including Production and Sustainment

  • Execution of Risk & Opportunity (R&O) reporting and analysis

  • Perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results.

  • Regular interface with internal partners across the Raytheon business

  • Engage in cross-functional partnerships within a team of matrixed program managers, Program Integrators (PIs), and Integrated product Team Leads (IPTLs)

  • Ability to travel (international and domestic) for customer, company, and program related activities (approx. 10% of role)

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or
    An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) management process

  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Estimate at Completes (EACs), and/or Integrated Master Plan or Schedule (IMP/IMS)

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a government US Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) process to include program revenue and profit recognition to minimize risk to the organization

  • Experience with Production and Sustainment programs and strategies with FMS and DCS Contracts

  • Experience developing and reviewing basis of estimates

  • PMP or Raytheon Program Manager 6 Certification or higher.

  • Raytheon EVMS Certification

  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with program processes, financial planning and execution, EACs, EVM, and key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings & Cash).

  • Prior Defense Industry experience supporting the product life cycle.

  • PMP or Raytheon Program Manager 6 Certification or higher with ability to obtain PM Level 6 within 12 months

  • Experience with Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite

  • Proven experience with geographically multidisciplined teams.

  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interacts with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

  • Ability to operate independently to navigate organizational complexities and to obtain resources to move initiatives forward

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs to include Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
