How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Cylinder Control Specialist is responsible for cylinder population accuracy, customer cylinder records and branch on-hand cylinder balances through monitoring and maintaining proper controls. This position will coordinate with Regional Cylinder Control, Region VPs of Operations (RPOs), and Gas Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely reporting and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for analyzing, investigating and modifying customer accounts using site audits, cylinder movement reports and customer account history. 

  • Responsible for implementing and complying with the policies and procedures that help ensure the accuracy of the cylinder records. Reviews cylinder activity for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance performing periodic audits at the customer site. 

  • Communicates with internal and external customers regarding results of audits including settlements and past due invoices or resolution to a cylinder dispute. 

  • Reviews and resolves customer owned transactions resulting in either a positive/negative cylinder balance. 

  • Assists local/national account managers and branch personnel with large-scale customer cylinder audit reconciliation. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities such as ad hoc reporting as may be assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

  •  High School Diploma or GED Required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Prior experience in an operations, customer-service or manufacturing related administrative role required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adjust communication method based on customer situation. 
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgment as well as ability to discern when to escalate issues.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system preferred
