Commercial Casualty Supervisor

Salary: $130,000, negotiable commensurate with experience

We're looking for a highly motivated Commercial Casualty leader!  This exciting opportunity will allow you to drive results by mentoring, coaching, and developing a team of Commercial Casualty Examiners! As a supervisor in the Commercial Casualty or Commercial Litigation Claims unit, you will play a vital role in the company's success by leading your team in the investigation of coverage, determination of liability, and handling of injury claims. The position will include providing direction in the resolution of complex coverage and liability matters and may also include overseeing the handling of serious injuries and litigation. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully driving results, a passion for helping others, and will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team. A Commercial Casualty Supervisor will travel to attend trials and other litigation process events.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2+ years’ experience supervising a team of Commercial Casualty Claims handlers
  • Must have experience in commercial trucking (preferred) or commercial auto
  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must build strong engagement and support in teams working across multiple locations including fully remote associates
  • Must be able to provide direction of complex coverage and liability investigations
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts, or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, empathic, and professional manner by telephone, on video conference, and via instant messaging platforms
  • Must be able to handle difficult conversations and stressful situations
  • Must perform duties at a stationary workstation
  • Must be able to multi-task

Preferred: Experience handling multiple states

Annual Salary

$104,550.00 - $161,950.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
