Are you energized by a procurement leadership role where you can drive strategy and shape procurement objectives across the organization?  If so, this senior manager role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

As a Senior Category Manager for Facilities, Security, and Workwear, you will:

  • Assist in the development, execution, and continued maintenance of comprehensive global sourcing strategies aligned with GSK business stakeholder needs
  • Be a member of a team responsible for £300m annual spend related to Facilities Management; ensuring compliance to project budgets and schedules
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure the safety of GSK’s facilities
  • Contribute to overall organizational goals by meeting or exceeding annual cost reduction and avoidance goals
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring business alignment on critical objectives
  • Manage risk effectively via well-constructed commercial and contractual agreements with third parties
  • Keep abreast of market trends and commodity drivers; leverage same to effect strategies and develop annual cost reduction commitments

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience leading procurement for facilities category
  • Experience using Ariba & SAP systems
  • Experience with Enterprise Facilities Management Programs, Security and Workwear categories

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master's degree
  • Proven negotiations and contract management skills
  • English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus
  • Leadership/communication skills
