This role will be responsible for supporting the Program Director in the day-to-day management of the transformation program, covering the complete program life cycle with a view to deliver a future-fit Asia Investment Management model. The overall purpose of the role will be to:  

  • Manage and generally support the maintenance of the detailed program plan, governance forums and reporting mechanisms.  

  • Support program execution, issue resolution and decision making in partnership with workstreams, business units, functions and other stakeholders.  

  • Escalate key decisions and issues and ensure syndication with relevant decision makers and stakeholders. 

  • Support identification, acceleration, delivery and impact tracking of immediate priorities and benefits, particularly related to agreed Client and Business outcomes and Investment / Risk guard rails.  

  • Support program-wide communication and day to day stakeholder engagement and communication.  

  • Support transition of components of TOM delivered by program to BAU 

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Breadth and depth of knowledge of end-to-end investment management operating model and value chain as well as the typical workings of an investment management and the various functions is strongly preferred.  

  • Qualification in agile/Program management (e.g., PMP / Prince 2, CSM) and/or Lean Six Sigma is strongly preferred   

  • Exceptional presentation skills a pre-requisite 

  • Experience managing multi-project programs. 

  • Good working knowledge of planning and execution frameworks including traditional approaches such as waterfall and more modern Agile-based approaches; incl. hybrid models.  

  • Demonstrable consulting and advisory skills; need to synthesize various types of information and multiple points of view and form recommendations on best way forward. 

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills  

  • Proven track record of leading and coaching other members of the team in a matrix reporting environment. 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Effectively communicate and interact with diverse group of stakeholders that include workstream leads, advisors to the program, Business Unit CEOs and their leadership teams, and regional and global senior executives. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as an individual, collaborator (helping others think through the problem in structured way) and leader. 

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree holder 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 -7 years managing large, complex, multi-year transformation programs as the primary program manager/program lead, ideally with investment management organization or function.
