+++Please be aware that this is a people manager role, and proven experience in a similar capacity, along with a high level of maturity are essential+++

+++Please apply only if you can commit to availability for closing shifts (Shift ends at 10pm) and/or weekends, as these are crucial to our team’s success+++

+++Previous experience in a retail and/or warehouse receiving role is highly valued+++

+++Experience with inventory management platforms is considered an advantage+++

What you’ll do 

Customer Service and Support:

·       Train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

·       Resolve customer inquiries and support store staff to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Store Operations and Management:

·       Delegate and prioritize workload for efficient store operation.

·       Oversee the receiving, handling, and storing of products to optimize results.

·       Ensure pricing integrity and maintain store cleanliness to specified standards.

·       Manage product rotation as required to maintain quality.

Merchandising and Marketing:

·       Effectively merchandise according to advertising and promotional programs.

·       Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to drive strategic decisions.

General Duties:

·       Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure courteous service and competitive product offerings.

Experience you exhibit

·       Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the No Frills concept as a discount food store focusing on low price image in the following ways:

  • merchandising to appropriate No Frills standards

  • maintaining and ordering proper inventories, including being familiar in dealing with direct suppliers and having knowledge of their products

  • checking invoices for proper product / pricing / quantities

·       Maintaining cleanliness to appropriate standards

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Demonstrated Customer focus

·       Ability to manage people

·       Ability to work with minimal functional direction

·       Must be able to lift using work safe guidelines

·       Demonstrated accountability for entire store in the absence of Store Associate/Owner:

  • key carrying / alarm responsibilities

  • strictly adhering to loss prevention, health and safety, and other applicable operational policies

What you bring 

·       Flexibility to work a variety hours which may include days, evenings, and weekends

·       Able to move up to 50lbs and in constant mobility for an entire shift
