ASM Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Warehouse/Purchasing Manager. This position will be responsible for distributing food and beverage products, procures goods and services to meet facility needs, assists in maintaining inventory receiving shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the timely delivery of products to various department within organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Orders, receives, and manages product inventory
Rotates inventory practicing FIFO (first in, first out)
Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse and concession stands
Product transfers: pre-event and during event, ensures proper storage
Set-up and tear-down of portable concession locations and satellite warehouse locations as determined by event needs
Procures goods and services to meet facility needs; assists in maintaining inventory contract administration and capital project administration
Selects vendors, assesses vendor capabilities, develops alternate sources, evaluates vendor performance and negotiates price and delivery of goods and services
Responsible for maintaining all files for maintenance contracts and provides the appropriate department head with timely notifications when contracts are to re-bid
Works with the Director of Food & Beverage on assigned capital projects and performs as a liaison between ASM Global and the City’s Procurement Department.
Ascertains that purchasing documents are properly completed and terms and conditions of purchases are appropriate
Assures that department records are maintained and purchases are followed-up or expedited when required
Recommends major purchases of materials based on anticipated changes in prices or on unusual availability situations
Analyzes and determines facility purchasing needs and identifies effective and efficient solutions while using computerized tracking system
Provides monthly updates on capital projects to the General Manager and the Director of Finance
Undertakes specifically assigned projects relating to procurement and provides summaries, reports and recommendations on these subjects
Process invoices for payment
Assist with recording of monthly inventory
Assist with cleaning of foodservice equipment including fryers, grills, and other equipment

Skills & Abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide (basic mathematics skills).
Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio (walkie talkie) Ability to regularly move and lift to 50 pounds.
Ability to work within a “team” oriented environment.
Requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
6 months foodservice experience and/or training; fast food experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
