We are searching for the best talent for a Staff Industrial & UXUI Designer to support our Electrophysiology business. This role will work a Flex/Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week(could be more based on study support) onsite in our Irvine, CA office.
Job Summary:
The Biosense Webster Usability and Design team is seeking a human centered Industrial / UXUI Designer who is passionate about improving the quality of people's lives through compelling design experiences. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of product development for medical devices.
We are seeking a designer who has a strong skillset in industrial design but can also handle UX/UI design activities. They will deliver cohesive, safe, and delightful experiences across our electrophysiology portfolio. They will lead early-stage user research—including contextual inquiry, workflow analysis, and needs finding—and translate insights into design requirements, concept architectures, experience principles, and interaction patterns.
They will execute ID and UX/UI design for catheter systems and accessories, craft distinctive form language and CMF and produce photorealistic renderings and storyboards. They will also handoff designs to manufacturing partners (tooling, suppliers) to ensure design intent and quality are preserved through pilot and ramp-up under design controls.
They will be responsible for educating and guiding teams through design activities and requirements throughout the product development process.
