Job Summary:

Are you ready to have an exciting career with a growing company? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Policy Service Specialist to support our operations and underwriting teams within the transportation and logistics insurance sector. This role will be responsible for preparing policy documents, accurately issuing policies, and performing post-issuance reviews to ensure quality and compliance with both insurance carrier requirements and state guidelines. The Policy Service Specialist supports the underwriting staff by carrying out various support tasks. Prior insurance experience NOT required. You can Earn While You Learn!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Issuance of insurance policies, binders, endorsements, cancellation and non-renewal notices accurately and within established timelines.

· Communicate with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders to address questions or resolve discrepancies related to issued policies. Follow up with customers to ensure accurate records.

· Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to gather necessary information for policy issuance.

· Review completed policies post-issuance to ensure compliance with insurance carrier requirements and state regulations.

· Maintain and update policy records and documentation in agency management systems.

· Support quality control initiatives by identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.

· Provide excellent service and support to internal teams to facilitate a seamless policy issuance and endorsement process.

Requirements:

· Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and have excellent time management skills.

· Must have strong teamwork skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills for internal collaboration and external correspondence.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education/Experience:

· Associate’s degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required

· Experience in insurance policy servicing, underwriting support, or a related administrative role, a plus.

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
