This is a hybrid role in our London office.

The Role

You will work as part of the Accounts Payable Team with responsibility for our Vendors, liaising with business partners and vendors. You will ensure that the vendor accounts are maintained and vendors are paid in a timely manner in accordance with payment terms set contractually.

 What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring invoices received from Vendors are valid.
  • Responsibility for maintenance of Vendors on Business Entities
  • Working with different accounting software such as Lightening/Salesforce/Business Central/OCR
  • Responsibility for processing up to 1000 invoices per month both electronically and manually.
  • Working with different currencies (EUR, GBP, USD, CHF, CZK, SEK, NOK)
  • Monitoring the Aged Creditors Report and completing vendor reconciliation on a monthly basis for our top 10 vendors per spend.
  • Recording of employee business expenses, ensuring validity, approval and processing payment.
  • Maintaining records of invoices and expenses in archiving system.
  • Maintaining accounts payable supplier records.
  • Maintaining records of purchase orders.
  • Preparing reconciliation of Vendor accounts to GL on a monthly basis.
  • Investigating and resolving supplier queries.
  • Assisting with Fixed Asset reconciliation.
  • Posting direct debits, cash and journals at month end.
  • Liaising with business partners and vendors on a daily basis.

Team structure:

You will be providing guidance and support to our business partners both internally and externally.

You will receive guidance and support from the AP Manager, the Head of AP as well as the rest of the team.

What do we want from you?

  • English language proficiency is essential.
  • Accounting qualification (AAT or similar) preferable but not essential
  • Relevant experience in an Accounts Payable or related position
  • Business Central experience preferred but not essential
  • Lightening/Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
  • Industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Organisational and prioritising skills
  • Ability to work without being micro-managed
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Team player essential
