Provides customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community, and internal departments throughout SLHS for assigned location. This includes but is not limited to:
Answering phone
Scheduling
Routing calls to correct departments (Centralized scheduling, nursing staff, etc.)
View and return or route voice messages as needed
Problem solving concerns and issues to insure appropriate for Same Day clinic
Reminder of financial responsibility - copay or pre-payment
Providing patient instructions and education regarding preparations for visit
Able to answer scheduling calls with minimal support.
Demonstrates quality customer service.
Participates in timely efficient workflow.
This position is responsible for answering incoming calls and scheduling patients appropriately with providers.
Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices and the community
Scheduling Established patients only in EMR, updating/verifying: including demographics, patient contacts and insurance information
Verifies patient's insurance for eligibility and benefits utilizing Epic Real Time Eligibility and insures filing order is correct
Other duties as assigned as position evolves
