Join us as a Product Owner - Lending

• Work closely with your Product Manager and other mission teams in a cross-collaborative manner to ensure that the Lending product is delivered on-time, within budget, and meets customer expectations
• Drive requirements gathering and project engagement with internal and external stakeholders that feed into our Lending process
• Work with our tech colleagues to synthesise these requirements into Epics for the relevant development team

What you'll do

As a Product Owner, you’ll be joining an agile product team with a focus on developing our Banking-as-a-Service Lending propositions, creating products and services that our Banking-as-a-Service clients and their customers love.

You’ll also be:

• Managing the product backlog and prioritising features for your allocated team
• Breaking Epics into detailed user stories and feature specifications in JIRA for the team to pick up and build (story, acceptance criteria and scenarios)
• Creating comprehensive collateral and documentation for both internal and external consumption
• Focusing on testing, quality assurance and governance before product is shipped

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need to have previous experience of working in a Scrum or Agile team. You’ll need the ability to innovate, partner and collaborate with customers and colleagues to implement the best digital experience for our customers. It would be great if you also have experience in traditional retail lending products such as Personal Loans, Overdraft Credit Cards or Mortgages.

You’ll also be expected to have:

• Proven experience as a product owner, product manager, or similar role in a Banking-as-a-Service or software development environment
• Passion for customers and a problem solving mentality, with proven ability to manage multiple dependencies across several external and internal teams
• Technical background with a fundamental understanding of lending products
• Experience with a definition of minimum marketable features and minimum viable products
