Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, healthcare or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Job applications may be accepted for candidates that currently meet the minimum qualifications or candidates actively pursuing the education requirements who will meet all minimum requirements within ten (10) months. Minimum qualifications must be satisfied prior to starting work.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:
Epic certification or accreditation. If not Epic certified or accredited, must obtain Epic certification or accreditation within 6 months of hire. An Epic assessment will be given to those candidates who pass the initial review step of the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Information systems experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven ability to be flexible and accomplish assigned work, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
Responsibilities:
Determines requirements, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains, documents and enhances business systems at Ticket and Task level.
Conduct testing to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged
Determines proper system implementation parameters, for smooth integration, transition and efficiency at break/fix level. Analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects technical problems and deficiencies at break/fix level. Implements business continuity procedures.
Assists customers and dedicated trainers in the development of training materials.
Submit documentation on issues, tasks performed, project statuses and other requests in timely fashion including actual resource hours used to complete the above.
Communicates and works effectively with team members, supervisors and customers.
Work with operational owners to support design and support development of new business processes.
Monitors compliance of internal policies and operating procedures.

Physical and Environmental Demands:
Requires occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, constant sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
