Job Description: SAP CO S/4HANA Accounting Consultant

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA Controlling to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP CO solutions, ensuring accurate cost management and seamless integration with Finance and other business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Gather business requirements and design SAP CO solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Configure and support core CO submodules including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing (Cost Object Controlling, Material Ledger, Actual Costing), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis in S/4HANA).
Implement S/4HANA innovations such as Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Margin Analysis, and Embedded Analytics.
Collaborate with FI, MM, PP, and SD teams to ensure proper integration of controlling processes.
Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting using SAP CO functionalities.
Design and maintain overhead allocations, assessments, and distributions.
Work on system testing, UAT, end-user training, and cutover activities.
Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects related to CO.
Assist in ECC to S/4HANA migration (costing run, material ledger activation, data migration).
Provide post-go-live support, resolve incidents, and enhance CO functionalities.

Required Skills & Experience:
6–12 years of experience in SAP CO with at least 1 full-cycle ECC or S/4 implementation.
Strong expertise in Controlling submodules (CCA, PCA, IO, Product Costing, CO-PA / Margin Analysis).
Hands-on experience with Material Ledger (mandatory in S/4) and Actual Costing.
Deep understanding of integration between CO and FI, PP, MM, and SD.
Experience with planning and reporting in S/4HANA.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have:
Exposure to Fiori apps, CDS views, and embedded analytics.
SAP CO or S/4HANA Finance certification.
Education
Bachelor s/ Master s degree in finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
Professional certifications like CMA, CA, CPA (preferred but not mandatory).
