As a Compliance Analyst, based in Birmingham, AL or MInneapolis, MN, you will have the opportunity to promote a high level of ethics and compliance across multiple facets of our essential business. The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring Shipt’s adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position will involve conducting compliance reviews, providing expert guidance to various departments and training.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Looking for somebody with 4+ years of prior experience working in law, compliance or investigations, preferably in a tech/ecommerce environment.  

  • Certification in Compliance (CCEP) preferred

Compliance experience:

  • Develop, implement and maintain review of Compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation

  • Develop training with key business partners and oversee implementation and communication plans for Ethics and Compliance training for team members

  • Improve the existing Training & Awareness program

  • Partner with investigations teams on processes and oversight of ethics program and internal policies and procedures 

Analysis experience:

  • Assist the compliance department in issuing findings as results of compliance reviews, audits, assessments, and examinations

  • Perform impact analysis for control deficiencies identified over the compliance programs and partner with program owners to design remediation plans including internal and external partners.

  • Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews, including assessing effectiveness of controls, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions.

Project Management experience: 

  • Identify gaps/opportunities/key risks and work with control owners to develop corrective actions to address gaps

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders concerning application of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures 

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$74,732-$149,463

All other locations:

$62,186-$124,481

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
